Captain Woody takes the time to explain the hows and whys of every method he uses, where to fish on any given day, how to read the water and weather conditions, and how to best utilize satellite imagery provided by Hilton’s Offshore, to make a decision on not only where to fish, but what areas to avoid, thus saving you time and money. Captain Woody has tackle fitted for youth, women, and up to big boy sizes, and is happy to bring it on your vessel. He is available from Panama City, Florida to Texas (including but not limited to fishing in Destin Fl, Orange Beach, Perdido Key Florida, Dauphin Island Alabama, Gulf Shores AL, Venice Louisiana, Grand Isle, Cypremort Point). Recently, he was acknowledged by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries for tagging the most yellowfin tuna in the past tagging season, for the third year in a row. Captain Woody has a decorated tournament record, boasting wins in over 75% of the tournaments he has entered as mate or captain. Specializing in blue marlin fishing, Captain Woody is prepared to utilize whatever method is necessary to target the largest blue marlin the Gulf of Mexico has to offer, or rack up releases for tag and release categories.
